Mike Owen, one of the creators of The S.A.F.E. Approach™ workplace violence mitigation program, spoke on Wednesday, November 1, at a rally in Kansas City organized by the Silent No More Foundation.

The Rally, held at the Robert J. Dole Federal Courthouse in Kansas City, KS, on November 1st and 2nd, coincided with the sentencing of Clifford Currie, the convicted attacker of Lt. Katie Blanchard at the Munson Army Health Center in Leavenworth, Kansas.

Mike provided his perspective on the problem of violence in the workplace faced by health care workers today and offered some solutions to help address this very important issue.
